Brian George Dowsett

Born 15 August 1939.

Passed away peacefully at Pohlen Hospital, Matamata, Monday, 24 June 2024, after a short illness.

 Aged 84 years.

Dearly loved husband of Cynthia and treasured father and father-in-law to Annah and Nigel (Arrowtown), Kate and Erin Beale (Auckland), immensely proud Poppa of Ruby, Liam and Zach, admired Uncle of Matthew and treasured friend of Mike Smith (Sydney).

Special thanks to the wonderful staff at Pohlen Hospital for their exceptional care for Brian.

A celebration of Brian’s life will be held in the Rosa Chapel, Tamihana Street, Matamata, Friday, 28 June at 1pm
