HILLIS, Imelda Mary

Passed away peacefully at Waihi Lifecare on Tuesday, 30th April 2024, in her 88th year. Much loved mother and mother-in-law of Brian and Jenny, Paul and Julie, Wayne and Vanessa. Greatest friend of CD. Loved grandmother of Rebecca, Christopher, Patrick, Aimee, Simone, Kurt, Michael and Ashley. Treasured great grandmother of all her great grandchildren. “Loved by all, may she Rest in Peace.” A Requiem Mass celebrated for Imelda will be held in the Church Of The Holy Angel’s, Hohaia Street, Matamata, on Monday, 6th May 2024 at 11:00 AM. Followed by interment at The Matamata Cemetery. In honour of Imelda please consider donating to Alzheimers NZ, donations may be made online at alzheimers.org.nz or left at the service.
