Hubertus van de Pas (Huup)

6 May 1955 – 21 October 2024

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Hubertus van de Pas, known to many as Huup, on Monday, 21 October 2024. 

Loving father of four sons, along with their wives: Daniel and Karen, Michael and Denise, Luke and Katie, and Kyle and Rachel. 

Huup was also a cherished Opa to nine grandchildren: Madison, Dinah, Zoe, Matilda, Una, Fergus, Charlotte, Kayden, and Amelia.

Beloved brother of his six sisters: Rina, Helma, Adriana, Maryanne, Rosemary, and the late Linda.

“He had a laugh that was truly one of a kind, and he’ll be deeply missed by his family and friends.”

A service to celebrate Huup’s life will be held in St Joseph’s Church, Victoria Ave, Morrinsville, Tuesday, 29 October at 11am.
