Caird, Douglas (Doug) William

Passed away peacefully at Waikato Hospital on Thursday, 8 February 2024. Aged 85 years. Dearly loved husband of the late Val and wife of Barbara. Cherished father and father-in-law to Diane and Brett, Barry and Fiona, Karen and Karl, David and Jenny. Adored grandfather to 13 grandchildren, and 5 great grandchildren. “We will cherish his smile and sense of humour forever. Now he is with Mum, rest in peace.” A celebration of Doug’s life will be held in St Marks Anglican Church Hall, Te Aroha on Wednesday, 14 February, at 11am followed by the burial at The Te Aroha Cemetery.
